TECH FAIR PLAN:
Group:
I will be working with Seema, Aline and Kimiya.
IDEA 1:
A soundproofed personal theater booth with stop motion video.
The stop motion video will be played through bass speakers and we will allow people to test and try out the cinema booth itself. We will soundproof it through various methods and evaluate which works best, therefore merging computer technology with physics as well. Our research question will be: Which is the most convenient and reliable way of soundproofing a room? We will do this by finding a variety of ways to soundproof rooms and try to use as many ways and test them out all accordingly and make sure the testing of each method of soundproofing is valid and not bias or not carried out the same way each time. I felt this was a good idea because of the difficulty and experience of creating a large project that will take time and effort, also because I am curious to find out the best technique to soundproof rooms
This has not been created before so we would be the first ones to attempt this project, which makes it very interesting and exciting to create. With the layout of a photobooth and the pleasures of a cinema, it creates a great combination
Music Video
For this project we will create a lyric music video, using visual drawings to show the lyrics. The song is undecided at the moment, and the game is our first priority.

IDEA 2:
GPS Application of DUBAI
This is by-far the most difficult that came to mind, but would be incredible and effective if put into action. It will be similar to the Google Maps application.GPS satellites circle the earth twice a day in a very precise orbit and transmit signal information to earth. GPS receivers take this information and use triangulation to calculate the user's exact location. Essentially, the GPS receiver compares the time a signal was transmitted by a satellite with the time it was received. The time difference tells the GPS receiver how far away the satellite is. Now, with distance measurements from a few more satellites, the receiver can determine the user's position and display it on the unit's electronic map.
A GPS receiver must be locked on to the signal of at least three satellites to calculate a 2D position (latitude and longitude) and track movement. With four or more satellites in view, the receiver can determine the user's 3D position (latitude, longitude and altitude). Once the user's position has been determined, the GPS unit can calculate other information, such as speed, bearing, track, trip distance, distance to destination, sunrise and sunset time and more.
Advantages: It will be fun to make and we will be making a slideshow and probably a poster so the presentation will be appealing and it will be a fun game for anyone to play.
Disadvantages: We might not be able to be in a group of 4 which would be easier to make the presentation harder and it wont be as appealing if we were a 3

Idea 3:
Innovative game based on EIS
Video Game
Seema, Kimiya, Aline and I are planning to create an rpg game of our school, or just any school. There will be quests and other things to do. The objective of the game is to collect 5 stamps from various teachers or students. Once you collect 5 stamps, you will be rewarded with chocolate given by one of our group members.
We will create custom tilesets and sprites for the game to make it a modern day school. We will all watch video tutorials from youtube to understand how the game works, and be fully informed and able to create the game. We were thinking of using the school computers so more than one person can play at a time.

Cardboard box phone, if all else fails because it seemed
simple and fun and will be a nice presentation, also to add with it we would
make a poster about the history of telephones and have smaller models of them
aside each other to spot the differences and in the end there will be a quiz
although we are not sure about this idea it would be good if the game and the
video doesn't work out. We won’t be using any software except for Power point
Presentation and the hardware we will be using is Cardboard and paint etc.
